Baxter Family Zoo Day

While everyone was still in town visiting, we had a little mini Baxter Family reunion and made a trip to the Boise Zoo.
The kids were sooo excited for a zoo day!
Kingston's first trip to the zoo!

The girls were so excited to be able to pet the turtle.

The whole family, minus Jake who was in Russia on his mission.
These two became best little buddies during the summer. Tallin followed Bostyn everywhere, and she loved it!
The girls loved the dinosaur exhibits the zoo had.
 Bostyn loved the jelly fish.
 Posing by the lions!
This zoo didn't have any elephants, so the statues would have to do.
Kingston was such a happy little guy all day long.

Papa paid for all of the kids to ride on the carousel. The girls were in heaven!

And of course, Kingston just ate and slept while everyone rode on the carousel.

It was so fun to watch these three run and play together.
We sure love this little nephew of ours.
Slides are always a hit where ever we go, but the especially love this giraffe slide.
Can you spot the two new members of the meerkat family?
This girl had such a great time, I don't think her smile could have gotten any bigger!
Brooklyn is growing up too fast.
We all loved seeing the tiger up so close.
They had so much fun feeding the goats, even if she was a little nervous to actually let them eat out of her hand.
 Kingston loves his Papa.
We all loved the butterfly exhibit!
The kids had so much looking at all of the huge butterflies.

Brooklyn was lucky enough to have one land on her shirt!
I seriously have the cutest nephews ever.
She sure loved those little wooden tigers!
 Love these two girlies!

And of course here is the Baxter family entry for all of those awkward family photos you see floating around the internet. This picture just makes me laugh.
And the proud parents with 4 out their 5 children.
How cute are these three little guys!?! I cannot wait until they are all old enough to run around and play with each other!
These two are just 3 months apart!

all of the Baxter women, in our matching shirts of course.
We couldn't leave the zoo without one more zip down the slide!
Kingston and Grandma! He was such a good baby, and just ate and slept the whole day.

It was so fun having everyone together for a few days and being able to spend time together! It will be so fun to have Jake back from Russia for our next family get together!

Summer Family Pictures

While Nicole was visiting, we took advantage and had her take some family pictures for us!

 We sure love these three!

Poor Kingston was getting so sleepy by the end of picture taking.

We are seriously the luckiest parents ever!
I just love this shot of her and her curls!
 Brooklyn adores her baby brother.
I am so grateful every day to be married to this cute guy and for the cute little family we have!

Summer Fun!

At the end of May this little guy turned 2 months old! He weighed in at 14 pounds and 23.8 inches! He still only napped in his swing, ate ALL of the time, and woke up a few times a night! But how cute was he!?!

I am a sucker for little boys in church clothes!

We sure love those little chubby cheeks!

Aunt Nicole made him a bunch of cute bow ties for church too. He is too cute!
In early June, we got to spend some time with our family! Nicole and Tallin were able to come visit Oregon for a few weeks, and it was so fun getting to spend time with them. One day we went to Baker and visited a friend's baby chicks.

 The kids loved them!

Brooklyn thought it was so fun to be able to hold a baby chicken.
Tanner was so small and didn't know what to think!
 Such a cute little guy.
Bostyn really wanted to hold Tanner for a picture, she did pretty well considering Tanner was so cute and chubby.
I love these girls of mine, and I love that they inherited my love for flowers too.
The girls loved being able to spend so much time with their cousins!

Last Stop: Enchanted Forest

On our way back from the coast we decided to surprise the girls with a quick stop to one of their favorite places, Enchanted Forest. It was a cold rainy day, but luckily once we got inside all of the trees helped block the rain!
The girls loved running through all of the little holes and tunnels.
 Looking into Snow White's cottage.
One of our favorite stops is Little Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe slide! They would have stayed here all day if they could have!

Kingston was a such a good baby and just slept and ate all day long.
They loved having the wristband for unlimited kid rides! Bostyn didn't want to get out of the bumper boat at the end of her turn.
Brooklyn's favorite ride was the Frog Hopper! It lifted them up and dropped them back down and they both loved putting their hands in the air waiting for the drops!
They had soooo much fun!
We sure love this little guy.

Our day consisted of even more kiddie rides and slides and of course we had to finish up with one last thrill. I love Brooklyn's face in this picture!
And before we left, we had to make sure to get one last picture at the little castle!
It is no Disneyland that is for sure, but the girls love coming here! We were so glad that we got to tag along with Greg on his training trip and make a little family vacation out of it!
