First Dance Recital

2014 was the first year that Brooklyn was able to take a dance class! She has always wanted to, so once we moved to La Grande, we were finally able to get her into a Ballet class! After a few months of practice it was time for their first recital!

Brooklyn was so excited to go, and she looked adorable in her little tutu!
Brooklyn and her other classmates.
She did so good, and never stopped smiling!

After their first dance number, they ran back and changed into their next outfit.
They all looked so cute!
I love this face of hers! Whenever she is really excited and happy, and has the attention on her, she makes this really big smiley/embarrassed face. I love it!
She was totally in her element and loved performing in front of the audience.

Brooklyn and her best friend Shaley. These two are so cute together!
After the recital, Bostyn gave her the flowers she bough for her.
I love this girl, and was so proud of her for doing such a good job!
These two are the best of friends!

 Our cute little ballerina!
Grandma and Papa Baxter came over to watch the recital with us. Brooklyn loved having them there!

Brooklyn's First Christmas Program

Brooklyn was super excited about her first Christmas Program for Kindergarten! She wanted to wear her new Christmas dress and Bostyn wanted to match her.
It was so fun watching her come in with her class, and get so excited when she saw us!
She loved waving to Greg, Bostyn, and Kingston.

The little kindergartners are super cute and little.
She is a champ at smiling for the camera!
Bostyn loved watching the program, and had a pretty good seat.
It was fun being able to watch her sing all of the songs they had been learning.

As they walked out, all of the kindergartners got to take a candy cane from Santa!
Once all of the kiddos went back to class, Bostyn and Kingston had a chance to visit Santa. It was Kingston's first time seeing him, he was mesmerized.
Bostyn was pretty excited to be able to see Santa!
If only Brooklyn could have been there, this would have been the perfect Santa picture!

Christmastime Prep!

I love Christmastime and all of the fun traditions that come with it! First off, we had to decorate the Christmas tree! I do the lights and garland, then the girls get to help with the ornaments!
Kingston had no clue what was happening.
I love the bond these two share!
One of the first things we did was go to the light parade and the tree lighting! It was pretty cold so we made sure to bundle up.

The next weekend, we headed over to Baker to see their light parade with Greg's family! Their floats were a little bit better than La Grande's too!

Poor Kingston was so bundled up he couldn't see most of the night.

 I love this little guy!
Cute little Tanner had fun watching the parade with us too.
These cute little cousins have so much fun together!

Now that it is Crhsitmastime, our little elf Jilly had come back to visit!
Kingston decided that crawling wasn't good enough, and at 8 1/2 months he was pulling himself up to stand!
His first time was in the bathtub!
This kid keeps us on our toes that is for sure!
Silly Jilly was a pretty busy little elf this year too.
We finally upgraded to new stockings! Brooklyn was super excited to help do her name.

 They all turned out great!
Bostyn had gone to bed early the night before, so she finished hers the next morning.
 She was pretty excited!
It turned out pretty darn cute!
After years of wanting to have a stocking board, I finally made one! I love how it turned out.
Brooklyn was super excited to make her class treats for the Christmas party.
She even took the time to write her name on the back of every treat bag. She was so excited for her first class party!
