Our Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was a lot of fun! The Gardner's from our ward invited us, along with our friend Mike, over to share the holiday with them!

We made the traditional Thanksgiving Turkey and Indian nut cups
Brooklyn insisted on wearing her cinderella dress, and wore it most of the day
This is how the guys spent most of the day...Watching football
Brooklyn made a new best friend Gidget! Brooklyn walked around the house all day saying "Come on Puppy!"
I told Brooklyn to smile by Gidget, so she layed down and posed right next to her! Brooklyn got tired of football, so she kicked back and watched Cinderella while she munched on a million cookies Mike and BrooklynBrother GardnerSister Gardner

We had a great holiday, but we definitely missed our families! We can't wait to see them all in the next few weeks!

October came and went!

If we could describe October in one word we would have to say BuSy!!! I have no idea where October went!! We were sooo busy with school, friends, church callings, play groups, parties, and Halloween that the month just zipped on by!! Here are a ton of pics to recap all of the fun we had in October!!

For a playgroup we went to a pumpkin patch! Brooklyn loved it and she was so obsessed with "Kumpins" this year!

I told her she could pick any pumpkin she could carry. This was a little out of range, but she gave a valiant effort! We had a tiny breakdown trying to get a picture with our friends...I love how the boys are just staring at her!She loved getting pulled around in the big yellow wagons! These little guys totally made her day. She is still in love with Snow White and the Seven DwarfsHer first farm experienceAnd after a long search she found the winning pumpkin!Afterwards, we went back to our friends house to decorate our pumpkins and have treats! And the highlight of our Halloween celebrations: Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party at Disney World!
My favorite Pirates!

Our little pirate family! Our friends that invited us to come along with them: Pollyanna, Jeff and Jackson BrownDumbo is Brooklyn's favorite ride! The best part about the night was walking onto every single ride! It was so fun! This was the highlight of Brooklyn's night! She finally got to see Dopey!Cinderella's CarouselWe ended the night with an amazing firework show and awesome parade! After our Disney World trip, we went to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat partyBrooklyn with 2 of her best friends Tennille and Shaefer (a.k.a. Fur)Two of my favorite girls in the world! My beehives Christen and Hannah.Brooklyn was lucky enough to get to trunk-or-treat with Captain Jack Sparrow himself!Snow White! Brooklyn followed her around every chance she got!Of course no pirate assemble is complete without a pair of Cinderella's glass slippers!Even after all the fun we had, we had even MORE fun at Pollyanna's Halloween party!

Look how cute these kiddos are!Brooklyn adores this little girl! She talks about baby Jacey and her brother Jonah just about every day!The whole crew decked out in their Halloween attireAlong the way we watched all the kids for date night and made Halloween cookies with all 9 of them! Brooklyn had a blast!Brooklyn had her first sleepover with Kenna and Malyn!

They had so much fun watching movies...smiling for pictures...eating icecream...and lounging on the air mattress together! No Halloween is complete without pumpkin carving and caramel apples!

She was grossed out by the "guts"When I asked Brooklyn what we should carve she said "Pider!" Sooo here is our spider!
She loved our "baby kumpin"After we carved the pumpkin, Brooklyn helped dad unwrap all of the caramels. Hmmm I wonder what she is trying to hide in that little mouth of hers!Nothing caps off Halloween festivities like caramel apples and Winnie the Pooh's Halloween Heffalump movie!

Well that gives you an idea of why October was sooooo BuSy!! We had so much fun celebrating Fall and Halloween! It is one of our favorite times of the year!
