The Oregon Coast

At the end of May, we got to go with Greg to his training in Salem. We decided to leave a couple of days early and take a mini vacation! On our way there we made our traditional stop at the Portland Temple. The girls were so excited to run around and look at the temple.
A nice guy saw me taking their pictures and offered to take a family picture for us. The sun was so stinking bright that day!
Love these two, they always have to stop and smell the flowers!
I sure love my boys! Kingston was about 2 months old here and rockin' that double chin!
She had some crazy car hair, but she was so happy to be at the temple!
They looked like ants standing in front of it!

It was Kingston's first time at the temple too!
Before we left, we made sure to stop inside the visitor's center. The girls always love watching the videos and seeing the statue of Christ.
We finally made it to Lincoln City! The girls were so excited to play in the water even though it was a little bit cold!
I just love this picture! She was so happy just to be running back and forth on the beach.
 I love my little family!
Since moving from Florida, we have definitely missed seeing the ocean!

First family picture at the beach!
The next day we stopped at the Devil's Punch Bowl. The wind was super cold that day, but it still looked so pretty!
 Brooklyn loved exploring everything,
and this little thing was right behind her the whole time!
Brooklyn has been super interested in whales lately, so we surprised them with a whale watching trip. It had been raining all weekend, so we were hoping they wouldn't cancel our boat ride!
On our way out of the cove, we saw a couple of seals with their baby!
We didn't see any whales, but we did see a bunch of Sea Lions hanging out on the buoys.
Bostyn thought the boat ride was pretty cool!
Brooklyn was a little more nervous, but by the end she got brave and stood up by the edge.
Kingston just slept the whole time.
She was hanging on for dear life when we would hit the waves.
Still no whales, but lots of sea lions, so the girls thought that was pretty cool!

When we got back to the dock, there was another seal and her baby. Brooklyn just wanted to sit and watch them swim around.

When we went back to Salem, we took Bostyn to get her ears pierced. She had been asking for months to have earrings like Brooklyn, so she was excited when we were finally able to go get them done!
She looked so cute sitting there waiting!
Brooklyn kept herself entertained trying on all of the accessories at Claires.

She was pretty nervous, but she did so great and didn't move!
All done! She looked so cute with her sparkly butterfly earrings.

We had so much fun at the ocean and spending time together! Part two of our trip is up next!

Just a peek into May!

This little guy was 1 month old! He was still a little tannish yellow from his jaundice, and still had both of his tear ducts plugged! He was starting to finally be awake more during the day!
This girl makes me laugh...she comes up with quite the ensemble, and has the funniest facial expressions to match them!

I think I know who she learns it all from.
On Cinco De Mayo we made taquitos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, and of course fried ice cream. It was super yummy!

Our non fried "fried ice cream" It was delicious!
I love these two guys and how small Kingston still looked.
And following after his sisters, he will only nap in the swing.
I was so excited to get some of these monthly stickers! I just wish they had them when the girls were little too!
Kingston at 1 month old! 11.5 pounds and 22 inches!

He is such a sweet little baby, and I love all of that brown hair!!

On Mother's Day weekend, Greg took the girls to the store to go shopping. They came back and Brooklyn surprised me with some of my favorite flowers and other fun gifts!
First Mother's Day with 3 kids!
On actual Mother's Day, they made me breakfast in bed! I loved the pink waffles!
We tried to get a nice picture after church...these are what our pictures typically look like.
Every once in a while we get lucky and get a good one!
But most end up looking like these..
I sure love being their mom!
Kingston also got his first letter in the mail this month. Great Great Grandma and Grandpa Clark sent him $50 just for being born! Lucky kid!
Bostyn likes to help Kingston get cozy while he sleeps.
He is even adorable when he is crying. Love those little cheeks!
This is where Bostyn learns it all..Brooklyn has quite the fashion sense.
Kingston sure loves his baths! He can be screaming and crying and as soon as you sit him in the water, he is as happy as can be!
I sure love this little guy!
