Christmas Eve 2014

On Christmas Eve we had Sam, V, Tanner and Grandma and Papa Baxter over for a fun night! First off, we all made ginger graham cracker houses!
We teamed up to make our houses! We had soooo many candies to decorate with.

Cute little Tanner was content just walking around and playing!

I may be biased, but I think our house was pretty great!
Bostyn and Grandma's house turned into little tepees.
 Sam and V's creation,
 and Papa and Kingston's house!
After we made our houses we played Pin the Nose on Rudolph. This picture is a little blurry, but I loved her happy little smile!
 Brooklyn was pretty dead on!
Next up was Don't Eat Pete! THis is usually a crowd favorite!
I love her great big smile!
Of course we had to do our traditional Nativity reenactment! Kingston was lucky enough to draw Mary. He was NOT a fan of the wig!
Part of the Nativity group! Here was have Mary and Joseph, The shepherd and the donkey, and a little wise man!

Kingston was a pretty cute married, but man he hated it all!
After the nativity, we open our Christmas Eve pjs.!

Then we gave Tanner our Christmas present, and the kids got to open presents from Sam and V.

After all of the festivities and hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls, it was finally time for bed! The girls were super excited to put out milk and treats for Santa and the reindeer!

The final item of business for Christmas Eve was to tell Jilly goodbye! I always get so sad when the girls tell her goodbye, they love having her around all Christmas season!

Finally, the kiddos were all tucked in and fast asleep and Santa finally made the drop off! I love the magic of Christmas!

Christmastime 2014

The kids finally got to all see Santa together at our ward Christmas party! The girls loved him and Kingston just stared at him again.
I sure love these little people!
Bostyn was super excited to get her treat bag from Santa!
I love this happy little man! He was pretty excited about all of his first Christmas experiences.
Kingston made sure he was standing up anything he could! He never stops moving.
If you can't tell, Bostyn was pretty excited about her Christmas tree pancake! She looks so cute and little in this picture.
 Love these cute girls!
These 3 looked so cute in their Christmas Sunday outfits.
I am so lucky to be their mom!
Oh, and this silly elf was still up to no good! This day she decided to make sugar snow angels!

The Living Nativity

Right before Christmas, the 7th Day Adventist church puts on a Living Nativity! We had heard good things about it, so we decided to check it out!
When we first walked up, we saw this cool Roman Soldier riding around the front.
The girls were super excited to go in and see everything!
Mary and Joseph were walking around as we came in.
The camel was definitely the highlight of the visit! We loved petting him.
The girls loved the camel, Bostyn even got kissed by him!

The girls had a little booklet to collect stickers for each booth we visited.
I loved watching the potter. I have always wanted to learn how to use a pottery wheel.
They even had live turkeys and sheep for the kids to pet.

Kingston loved seeing the sheep and petting them!

The different booths had different themes. This one was the bakery, and they got to try the pita type of bread they used to eat back then.
It was the perfect pre-christmas family activity!
It was pretty chilly out so little man stayed in his car seat all bundled up.

Love this guy!
And of course we couldn't leave without petting the goats too!

Before we left, we had to take one more peek at the camel!

Our last sticker to get was the Roman Soldier. The girls thought he was so cool!
