Kingston James Baxter

Little Kingston joined our family March 28th, at 9:33 p.m. weighing 9lbs 2 oz and was 20.5 inches long.
Here are the details for those that are interested:
I had my 39 week apt Thursday, the 27th. Since we would be moving on the 12th I was dead set on not leaving my appointment until I had a date set to be induced, since the girls both came late and I was paranoid that Kingston would be just as late and we would be moving with a very tiny baby. Luckily my Dr. was on board and we set a date to be induced: Saturday the  29th. Before I left my appointment, my Dr. checked me and I was not quite 2 cm and 60% effaced, so she stripped my membranes and sent me on my way. That night around 4 a.m. I woke up having cramps/contractions every ten minutes that lasted 30 secs. They quit around 6 am and I fell back asleep.
All of Friday I just had some cramps and chalked it up to having my membranes stripped. Since I would be getting induced the next day, Greg's mom, Karen came up on Friday to be there when we went to the hospital. I decided to take a nap, and when I woke up (4 p.m.) the baby was moving a lot, so I just laid there and felt him. All of a sudden he kicked really hard and I felt a pop, then I felt like I was peeing my pants...I got a little freaked out and jumped off the bed and the water kept coming! I could not believe my water had just broken! I threw open my door and Karen was standing by the girls room and I just said "I think my water just broke! What do I do?!?"
Luckily Greg was already on his way home from work early, and Karen called him and told him to get home quick. I was dead set on being induced that I hadn't even packed my hospital bag yet. So I changed my clothes and ran around the house throwing things into my bag. Greg got home and we threw everything in the car and headed to the hospital!
I got all checked in and hooked up around 4:30. At 5 the Dr. came in and checked everything at I was 3 cm and 80% effaced. I was just having little cramps, no big contractions, so the nurse told me to walk around and see if that got things going. She said once I made it to a 4 I could get the epidural, but she didn't think that would be for a couple of hours. So I started standing and walking around my room and the contractions started coming and getting a little stronger.
I started to feel nauseous right when my Dr. came to check on me. Right around 6 she checked me and i was 5 cm. and could get the epidural, but before I could get it I had to get a full bag of fluids first. Luckily my nurses were great and they put the fluids in a pressure bag, that made it pump through fast.
I could finally get the epidural! The contractions had picked up and were pretty darn strong! I loved the anesthesiologist, even though she had to try twice to get the epidural in. Around 715 she finally got it in and working and it slowly started kicking  in and I was pain free around 730 p.m. they checked me again and I was at 6cm and the Dr. said she thought by 9 I would be ready to go.
Fast forward to 9 p.m. and I was starting to feel some pressure. Right after my Dr. came in again, she seriously had the perfect timing all night, and checked me again. I was at a 10 and ready to push! We had to wait about 15 mins for the other Dr. to come in and get ready and then we were set to go. After about 15 mins of pushing Kingston was born at 9:33 p.m. I still can't believe how fast and how smooth everything went. The whole process only took 5 1/2 hours, they keep getting faster and faster!

Checked in and ready to go.
After the epidural kicked in and finally relaxing.
 First time seeing Kingston!
I just remember thinking how chubby he was and how much hair he had.

He was a pretty big boy, considering he was 3 days early. 9 lbs 2 ounces!
First time holding his little boy!
I still couldn't believe how fast everything went, I loved holding my new little baby.
 So adorable and chubby!
 First bath.

The next day Grandma and Papa brought the girls to meet Kingston.

Brooklyn was so excited to hold him.

 Bostyn loved him too!

She was pretty excited to be a big sister.

 Love them!
First picture as a family of 5!

Dad's first time changing a boy-It is a little different for sure!

He slept 5 hours straight the first night! He was so sleepy the first 2 days, we didn't see his eyes much at first.

It is so weird having a baby with hair! We think that he looks the most like Bostyn right now.

Sam, V, and Tanner came to see us before we left the hospital. Tanner and Kingston are only 3 months apart!
Tanner didn't know what to think of the baby!
It was finally time to get ready to go home!
Love those baby yawns!
Ready to go home!

We loved the nurses and Dr's. but we were excited to be going home!
This picture makes me laugh, he didn't want to hold him anymore!
Brooklyn couldn't get enough of him!
Before Sam and V left, we snapped a pic of Grandma with 4 of her 5 grandkids, we were just missing Tallin!

I still can't believe how everything happened, but we are so glad that he finally is here and healthy and strong! We are loving having a cute baby boy in the family!
