End of September!

After such busy summer and all of our trips, it was nice to finally slow down and get back into the swing of things! After Disneyland Brooklyn started up soccer.
She was pretty excited to be able to play big kid soccer this year!
Bostyn was excited to watch her, and had to give her one last hug before the game started.
She was pretty timid and shy at first, but her coach was so great with her and helped boost her confidence.

Bostyn had fun playing with her pal Lucy.
You'd think she just scored, but I think she was just excited about playing!

Bostyn wandered around and found a lawn mower to sit on.
She loved sitting on it and pretending to drive.
This girl never holds still. When she wasn't climbing all over the lawn mowers, she was running into the nets trying to play.
Brooklyn looked so cute in her soccer clothes.

She was having so much fun!

We loved being able to get fresh pears and strawberries from our backyard.
This picture makes me laugh! Bostyn was supposed to be getting in the bathtub, next thing I know, she is prancing around the kitchen in nothing but rain boots!
I love garage sales! Mostly when I can score two end tables for $7, when I know they'll look great after a little TLC.
 Love them!
Bostyn has been getting a little bit easier to take pictures of.

I love her spunky little personality.
This is the  face I get when I tell her to smile and to let me see her eyes..she cracks us up!
Fall time mean time to bust out the pumpkin for yummy treats!
I can't believe she is getting so big.
Brooklyn loves preschool! She usually wants me to take a picture of her every morning before she gets on the bus!
 She is so pretty!
Bostyn likes to sit and watch for the bus with Brooklyn.
And the morning is never complete without Bostyn yelling "Bye Sissy, bye bus!"

California Trip Day 5: Last day at Disneyland!

Friday was the 5th and last day of our trip! The week flew by so fast, but it was filled with so many fun memories. To celebrate Brooklyn's birthday a little more, we went to The Plaza Inn for the Character Breakfast Buffet.
The girls loved having all of the characters come to our table while we ate.
 They loved Captain Hook!
And couldn't get enough of Chip (or Dale).

Grandma even got a picture with Winnie the Pooh.
 He is always a favorite!

Our first time seeing Mr. Penguin.
 Bostyn loved him.
They were super excited to meet Max, Goofy's son for the first time!

 So cute!
They loved to pull his ears and grab his nose.
Brooklyn took matters into her own hands and went and tracked Tigger down.
 Love it.
In true Bostyn style, she had to be pried away- again.
Before we left, we spotted the Fairy Godmother, so they ran over to say hi to her.
And of course to get her autograph.
Bostyn finally got a Mickey hat of her own! They loved to wear them while we were there.
The Haunted Mansion had been closed all week to get it ready for Halloween, and it was finally open on our last day there!
 I loved the decorations.
It was a mix of Halloween and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
It was so fun to see it done up for the holidays!
One more time on Winnie the Pooh, while the others went on Splash Mountain.
I didn't have a chance to put my zoom lens on, so this was the best I got of them coming down!
These pictures of Bostyn just make me smile.

I wish they could stay little forever!
We stopped by a little Halloween Carnival they had set up, then went back to the rides.
Since it was the last day, we had to make sure we saw the Princesses!
Sleeping Beauty was first.

Then Ariel. I love it when they come down on their level to talk to them.
 and finally Cinderella!
These girls gave soooo many hugs this trip.
On our way outside we found Snow White.

Bostyn just wanted to touch her face the whole time. Snow White was so nice and cute with them.
We couldn't leave without seeing Rapunzel! Brooklyn had picked a flower for her and Rapunzel took it and put it in her braid with her other flowers. Brooklyn was so excited!

Bostyn was always the last to leave, no matter who we saw.
We just about forget to get a picture in front of the castle!
Group shot in our matching shirts! It was so stinking bright out that day.
While the others went on the spooky Space Mountain, the girls and I went on the Teacups and a few other rides one last time!
 All lit up!
When it was finally time for the Fantasmic show to start, Bostyn had fallen asleep. This was the first day she hadn't taken a nap and she was exhausted. Brooklyn was pretty sleepy herself, and had some crazy eyes going there for a minute!
This show was so amazing!! Here comes Captain Hook's pirate ship.
 The evil witch.

This dragon was so cool blowing the fire!
At the end of the show, the river boat came down the river with spinning fireworks on the side. It was so pretty!
I think every single Disney Character was on this boat. They all had streamers and were waving goodbye to everyone as they went by.

I loved what they did with the lights and water in their shows.
This show was so much fun to watch, we all loved it!
After the show it was time for the fireworks. I wasn't paying attention and just about missed the Mickey head firework.

The fireworks are one of the best parts of Disneyland, and definitely one of my favorite things.
After the fireworks were over, these guys had to hit up Pirates of the Caribbean one last time.
It was finally time to go home and get ready for our flight home the next morning. I took a few pictures of my favorite decorations on the way out.

 I love, love, love Halloween!
After 5 super busy, crazy, fun days our trip was over and it was time to get back to real life! We will always remember this trip and all of the great memories that we made!
