We decided that our 1st day would be spent at California Adventure. We were all so excited for the day to begin!
I was super excited to see that Disneyland had already started decorating for Halloween.

While Dad and Papa went to get fastpasses for the mainCarsland ride, we walked right on Tow'Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. It was one of our favorite rides.
Bostyn LOVED this ride.

We had this puppy leash backpack, with Brooklyn and it was just as much of a lifesaver, or more with Bostyn.
This ride was a little slow and awkward, but the girls loved it.

A couple of weeks before we left I had Brooklyn watch Cars, so she would understand all of the characters we saw. She was excited to see Red the Firetruck. Disney and their creations are so amazing!
Grandma and Brooklyn rode on the bumper cars and she loved it!
Brooklyn had always wanted an autograph book, so she got one for her birthday. She loved getting the characters to sign her book.
This was the first character we had seen, and Bostyn wasn't so sure of him.

We were so glad that Grandma and Papa got to come on the trip with us!

Brooklyn was super excited to see Minnie Mouse. Too bad Bostyn had just fallen asleep, so she missed out on this one.
Thanks goodness for fastpasses! We got to skip the hour long wait and ride the Radiator Spring's Racers ride. It was seriously the best ride there! Brooklyn was so excited to be tall enough for it.
This ride was so fun! You end up racing against another car down the track and you feel like you are flying! These pictures crack me up!
Both of the girls were so excited to see Sofia standing on the sidewalk. The line wasn't long at all, and they got to spend so much time with her! Bostyn just yelled "Sia, Sia" the whole time and didn't want to let go of her.
They LOVE Sofia the First.

Papa's competitive side comes out on any ride that you can shoot and score points.
She was so happy!
Not to brag, but I did end up with the highest score out of everyone.
While the others went on the huge roller coaster, I took the girls on Ariel's Carousel. They both loved this ride!

We had to ride this one or two more times before we left! It was so cute and fun!
Right before the park closes, they show the World of Color.
Brooklyn was so exhausted, she couldn't stay awake for it.
This show was so amazing! Everything is done with sprays of water and lights, it was so neat to watch it all!
I took way more pictures, but those were just a few of my favorites of the show.
Day 1 was a success! We were all exhausted, but loved every minute of it!
