Summer Fun

We have been keeping pretty busy this summer and have so many pictures to choose share! Here are some of  the favorites from the summer so far!

Bostyn loves to jump in her jumper and gets so excited when she starts bouncing really fast!
These two cuties love to take baths together. It is so fun watching them splash and laugh with each other.
Bostyn's first time sitting up! She was just over 5 months old and loved to be sitting and looking around.
This summer Brooklyn has been participating in the library's summer reading program. To start it off they got to make owl masks, and then have a lady come teach them about owls. Brooklyn loved it!
Brooklyn and her "new friends" as she calls them, Jackson and Kate.
I love seeing her so happy and having so much fun.

For Father's Day we did a play group and made these fun treats for dad.
Then on Father's Day morning we made Greg breakfast in bed. Complete with flowers Brooklyn picked for him out of Grandma's flower beds.
Opening presents-Brooklyn and Bostyn are so lucky to have the best Dad in the world!
We had friends over that night and Brooklyn had a little too much fun showing them the dirt pile. This was the look I got when I asked her why she was dirty..
But it quickly turned to this face when she saw how dirty she actually was when I showed her the picture. Silly girl.
Greg's aunt and cousin stayed the night with us along with his cousin's three kiddos. Brooklyn loved having them here to play. Bostyn and Cannon are just a few months apart.
These three had a blast together! Brooklyn was so sad when her "new cousins" had to leave the next day.
Bostyn here takes after Papa and loves watching Perry Mason. Every time the channel would get changed she would start crying until they turned Perry Mason back on. It was the funniest thing.

I love snuggling this cute little girl!
I trimmed the rose bush one day and wrapped them all together for Brooklyn to play with. She carried them around all afternoon saying she was getting married. It was pretty cute!

What is summer without lots of hot dog roasts?
We loved trying out Grandma's new fire ring!

Bostyn at 6 months old.
She is always such a happy baby!

Bostyn loves to get her picture taken! Whenever I pull the camera out she has an instant grin...
even when she can't see very well.

They sure do love each other!
In July I turned 25-I feel so old saying that! And Bostyn celebrated her half birthday as well!
Brooklyn even got her a present for turning 6 months old.

And of course you need back up to blow out those candles!
Every year Baker does a "Kiddie Parade" for all of the kids to come dress up and walk down main street. Then they go have ice cream and games in the park. The library had a story time group in the parade and all of the kids were supposed to dress up wearing the things they had made during summer reading progam. So Brooklyn decided she had to wear her everything: her owl mask, bug antennas, and of course her tutu and her magic fairy wand.
Walking in the parade! She loved waving to everyone that was watching.
At the park they had lots of races for the kids. Here she is waiting to run!
She got second place in her age group and got $2 and a ribbon. She was so excited!

Every year a ton of people come to town with their motorcycles for the Hell's Canyon Motorcycle Rally. It's always fun to go downtown to see the bikes and all of the vendors. It was a chilly day so we had to bundle up!

Ever since my uncle gave Brooklyn a ride on a motorcycle last summer, she has been in love with them.
The owner of this bike was standing near by when we took the first picture, so he walked over and asked her if she wanted to sit on his bike. She was thrilled!
 Love my girls!
Just in case you're wondering where Greg was in most of these pictures, he was tucked away studying his little behind off for the bar exam that was fast approaching!

Coming and Goings

We are still alive, just a tad behind blogging! We have been doing lots of fun things this summer and I have been a total slacker keeping caught up! So here are a bunch of pictures from our first month here.

Gotta love those cute chubby cheeks
Brooklyn loves being out in the country and being able to run outside and play. She was so excited to find this little lady bug and played with it for forever!
Greg's little brother Jake also recieved his Eagle Scout award. The whole family was able to be here for his Court of Honor.
We snapped a few family pics while we were all together...

All the guys looking sharp in their uniforms.
Brooklyn is a total girly-girl and she loves having curlers in her hair and dressing up.
We also celebrated Karen's birthday. Brooklyn really wanted to make Grandma the butterfly cake, and loved decorating it.
At the end of May the girls and I headed to Star Valley for my little brother's graduation. While we were there we stopped in the see the girls' Great-Grandma Pat. It was her first time meeting Bostyn and she was so happy to see the girls!
It's so crazy my baby brother graduated from high school! I felt sooo stinking old being there seeing kids I remember babysitting walking across to get their diplomas.
 Uncle DeeJay and the girlies
 Grandma and Bostyn
It was impossible to get a picture of me and my brothers all looking at the camera..so this was the best we got.
While we were in SV we stopped in to visit my Great-Grandparents. Brooklyn loved the wide open spaces...
 and this cute little dog.
Despite this picture, she really did love feeding the horses too.
We got to take a 5 generation picture while we were there. The girls with their Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Great Great-Grandma
Brooklyn and Bostyn with Great Great-Grandpa and Grandma Clark. We are so lucky to have so many awesome grandparents in our lives!
Brooklyn loves cookouts and especially roasting marshmallows!
 Brooklyn sporting Uncle DeeJay's hat.
I told her to smile for the camera and this was the face I got...she cracks us up.
Bostyn learned how to blow raspberries too,
I just love that cute little face!
