Loving our new life!

We are loving living here in Oregon! Greg started his job as the Deputy District Attorney in November and he has been loving it!
Bostyn is always on the go, so I really love the rare occasion she falls asleep and actually seems like a baby still!
Brooklyn won those awesome glasses at the Halloween Carnival. We thought it was so funny to put them on Bostyn!
For the past 2 months Bostyn has refused to eat baby food. She LOVES eating regular food, especially pasta.
Now that Bostyn is a little bigger, Brooklyn really loves to play with her, especially dress up!
This town has lots and lots of deer! They are everywhere.
There is a little park not too far from our house that we walked to. Bostyn really loves to swing!

Brooklyn thought these huge tires were awesome! She climbed up them over and over again.
 It is so beautiful here!
Brooklyn loves all of the deer, and she gets excited every time we see one!
It finally snowed here, so she got to open a couple Christmas presents early.
She was so excited to go out and play....good thing sand castle toys make awesome snow forts too!
There was just enough snow to make a little snowman.
Brooklyn stayed out there forever, just walking around and eating the snow.
This little girl is 11 months old already! She LOVES bath-time.
I seriously can't believe how fast this year has gone.
I love this picture! Brooklyn was playing an alphabet game and Bostyn wanted to play too, so Brooklyn went and got her computer for Bostyn to play with. Bostyn was pretty excited!
Bostyn is super close to walking! She loves to stand up and walk along EVERYTHING and she has been standing by herself too..now if she would only take those first few steps!

Before Thanksgiving, we made pudding cornucopias! Bostyn was a little hesitant at first....
 Brooklyn was a pro.
Then Bostyn figured out it was pudding...
 and she went crazy!
 Love these two!
Bostyn had a blast, and was sooooo messy!
We have been making lost of pancakes...Usually in the shape of Minnie Mouse. I think someone has been having Disney World withdrawals.
Well the snow didn't stick around for too long, and so our little snowman buddy met his demise. Brooklyn was pretty concerned when he started melting, and when she saw he was all gone she was pretty disappointed.
We lucked out and found a really cute rental house that we all love! It is so nice being out of an apartment and having all of this space and a great yard! Here are a few pics of the house.
Half of the girls room...
The other half. The bedrooms in this house are all so big, it's so great!
 The girls bathroom
and their bathroom rules.
Greg's parents upgraded to a big screen and gave us their old stand. I painted it black this summer and I love it!
 Half of the living room..
and the other half, looking in from the front door. We LOVE those big bright windows!
 View from the dining area.
I love the kitchen! It's a little smaller, but their is SO much storage space.
 The dining room area.
Looking in from the living room. The door leads to the garage which is awesome for all of our storage. The window looks out onto a patio and part of the backyard.
The master bedroom, which is super huge!
 The guest/craft room
I LOVE having space for all of my craft stuff!
Not pictured is the laundry room, which I love, our bathroom, the linen closet, and the nice fenced in back yard! We really were blessed for Greg to get this great job and to find this cute house, we love it here!

Halloween-Better late than never!

While we were still in Baker we were rounding up the finishing touches of our Halloween costumes and we scored this gem for $2! Brooklyn was super excited to have a "modest Jasmine" outfit to add to her dress up collection.
When we picked our pumpkins, our friend gave us a few extra baby ones, some glitter, and glue and told us to make some sparkly pumkins...so we did!

Tah-dah! They were super easy and so cute!
We loved how shimmery they turned out!
A couple of  weeks before Halloween Baker had its first snow fall! Brooklyn bundled up as fast as she could   so she could go play in the snow...which you can't even see in the picture haha.
She was SO excited that it was snowing, even if it was just a few flakes.
Every year we make Halloween cookies to deliver- Brooklyn loved helping make all of them.
Her favorite part is cutting out all of the shapes...and eating the dough of course.
Not to mention getting to eat the frosting and sprinkles...
She was pretty excited to taste the giant cookie she picked out for herself.
Next year, Bostyn will be big enough to help,
but for now, were just loving this cute baby!
We wanted to carve our pumpkins with everyone before we left, Brooklyn was super excited!
While we were carving, Brooklyn's awesome sunbeam teacher stopped by to say Good bye before we moved.
 Diggin' out the guts!
Bostyn didn't want anything to do with the inside of the pumpkin...
Our good friend Pattie came over to visit too! She helped Bostyn paint her pumpkin

 Our finished products!
Our family's pumpkins...Bostyn's, Brooklyn's Snow White, and my owl.

 Sporting their Halloween shirts!
Brooklyn picked out our costume theme this year and we were so excited to dress up!
Bostyn was a cute little dalmation
and of course Brooklyn was Cruella De'Ville
Greg and I were dog catchers!
 Brooklyn looked so awesome!
The other dog catcher! Every year all of the business on main street open up for a big trick or treat. It was so fun walking from shop to shop and letting the girls trick or treat.

The beautiful mountains by our house!
These two were so cute together!
After trick-or-treating we went to a Halloween festival. Brooklyn loved it! She got free cotton candy, hot dogs, and popcorn.
 Bostyn slept right through it....
Brooklyn loved playing all of the carnival games and winning prizes.
 Our family 101 Dalmatian style!

 Their loot!
Bostyn tried to eat everything she could get her hands on!

We had a blast this Halloween and can't wait for next year!
