This post is mainly for the fam...

So I have decided that I am going to start a business just to do funeral flowers and I'm naming it: Flowers to Die For! I think it's pretty catchy don't you? Ok ok..just kidding I am not doing a business in funeral flowers, but for some of you that don't know I am majoring in Floral Design and I don't ever post pictures of the things that I create. Today in class we took a run at funeral flowers and it was actually my first time making a casket piece and easel spray. Despite the fact that we were only allowed to use flowers that were pretty much dead and I only had 25 minutes to make the casket piece, I think they turned out ok...so I just thought I'd share

2 Years Already?

Monday was our 2 Year anniversary!!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by, and how much our lives have changed! It seems like we just barely got married! It was a really great day and started off with Greg "kidnapping" Brooklyn and I. We went to breakfast in our p.j.s at frontier pies, and then we rented a few movies and camped out in the living room, lounging around and watching movies the rest of the day. Later that night we decided that we didn't want to cook, so we went and got another movie (hooray for free redbox codes on mondays!) and picked up a pizza from Craigos! I am sooo thankful that I am married to Greg and that we to spend the next 70 years plus eternity together!! I love you sweets!

VaLeNtInEs DaY

Valentine's Day was so much fun this year!!! It was our 3rd Valentine's being together and our first with Brooklyn! I had to work at the Flower Shoppe for part of the day, and it was actually pretty slow this year!
Last Thursday our ward had a Valentine's Dance, but Greg had to work and so we didn't get to go, so for Valentine's Day Greg surprised me with our own Valentine's Dance. We both got dressed up and went to dinner at the Hardhat and then went to the dance! The apartment was decorated with streamers and balloons, and Greg even bought me a corsage! It was so cute and so tons of fun! I loved it!
Earlier that day I had sent Greg around the apartment on a scavenger hunt find various little presents....then Greg surprised me with a dozen chocolate roses, and a single long stem red rose! It was such a great Valentine's day and we had so much fun together!

Sitting up and First Carrots!

Brooklyn is starting to sit up all by herself now!! We have been trying off and on the last couple of weeks to see if she will sit up without wabbling and falling over, and last night she finally got the hang of it! She sat up for almost 5 minutes without falling over! She would just sit there and hold on to her feet and grab for her toys. I can't believe how much she is growing and learning! She's such a smart little baby!!! As you can tell by her face in the pictures, she gets pretty excited about this!

Last night we gave Brooklyn her first carrots and she loved them!!! At first she wasn't sure about the taste, but she never spit them out and after a few bites she was crazy about them!!! Brooklyn definitely loves to eat!

Hooray for Giving Presents!

Well I seem to have missed doing everyone's Pay It Forward, and then today I saw this on Brittney's blog, and I got really excited and wanted to do it to!

Okay so the first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me to you. My choice. Made especially for you. Of course there are some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what i make!

2. What i create will be just for you.

3. It will be done sometime this year.

4. You have no clue what it will be... it may be a story. it may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake something and mail it to you. who knows? not you, that's for sure.

5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? oh the catch is that you must re post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!! Oh and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!!

Where did the time go?!?!

Brooklyn is already 5 months old! I can't believe how fast the time is going and how much she is growing!!! She is sooo much fun and learning new things everyday!

On her 5 month birthday she finally found her little feet!!! Once she did she wouldn't let go! I can't believe how flexible little kids are, it's crazy!

This red dress was mine when I was a baby and I wanted to take pictures of Brooklyn in it before she grew out of it! This little girl loves the camera and will sit there and smile as long as you make funny noises! I love our little photo shoots!

We love her to death!!!

One more thing to add, Greg was accepted into Mississippi School of Law this week, so we have one more school to add to our list of decisions. I'm so glad that we are going to have several different options to choose from!! We can't wait to move and start the next chapter of our life!

ExCiTiNg!!!!

We have some more GREAT news!!!!! Greg has been accepted to Florida Coastal Law School in Jacksonville Florida!! Not only was he accepted, but he was awarded a $7,000 dollar scholarship for each of the 3 years!!! We are really excited about this!!! Although we still have several more schools left to hear from before we make a decision, it's soooo hard not to fantasize about the warm weather, beaches, and the ocean while we're sitting here freezing in Rexburg!!!!
Congratulations Greg I love you!!!
