St. Augustine and the Alligator Farm

While Greg's family was here in Florida with us, we went down to St. Augustine Florida, which is the oldest city in America. While we were there we went to the Lighthouse Station Museum and saw the huge lighthouse that you could climb up and look out of. We couldn't go up because Brooklyn was too small, so we just took pictures from outside. We also drove by Castillo De San Marcos fort, which was a fort built when St. Augustine was founded.

While we were in St. Augustine we stopped by an Alligator Farm. It just happened to be raining when we got there so we were soaking wet by the end, but it was still fun walking through and seeing all the exhibits and types of alligators and crocodiles. Not even Brooklyn seemed to mind getting soaked in the rain!

It was like walking through a jungle

Some of these alligators were huge!
Tons and tons of alligators waiting for people to throw them food
Even in the rain she was so happy

While we were there they just happened to be feeding Maximo, their largest alligator. He only gets fed once a week, so we were glad we were there to see it. Here are a couple of videos of him eating. It was pretty awesome to be able to watch this!

So glad you made it there safely. :) Good thing you have naturally curly hair; that will definitely help you with the humidity factor. ha Brooklyn is getting so big. I can't believe she is going to be one soon. I suppose you'll be announcing an addition to the family in no time at all. ;)
