Valentines, Friends, Birthdays, & Fun

The title pretty much sums up this post! February flew by and now March is just about over! I haven't had a chance to post a lot of the pics from the last 2 months, but here they finally are!

All ready for church in one of her favorite dresses. Brooklyn wants to wear this one just about every week. She calls it her "Beautiful princess dress"
This girl LOVES stickers! Her latest fascination is seeing how many she can stick on her face.

Right before Valentine's Day we had a super fun playgroup at our house! Brooklyn and I made tons of sugar cookies the night before..
and then all the kiddos got to frost and eat them

They also made cute valentines to give to their dad.
One of Brooklyn's best friends, Miley. She loves her so much!
And our friends Tennille and Shaef
Brooklyn was all about the frosting and sprinkles
My first attempt at chocolate covered strawberries
Since we have had spring here in Florida for quite a while we have taken A LOT of trips to the zoo!

Brooklyn and her friend Malynn
Jackson and Brooklyn
She used to be scared of this statue, but now she begs to climb on his back every time we go by it.

This past month one of my great friends Heather was baptized! It was such an amazing spiritual day, that I will never forget!
These women are some of the many reasons that I LOVE it here in Florida! They are the best friends a person can have!
I love this dress..the best part was that it was $4
Brooklyn is now an aspiring model. She loves to pose for the camera and say "CHEESE!"
I can't believe how grown up she is! French braids!?! Not to mention the fact that she sat still and let me do it without moving an inch!
A couple of weeks ago I was able to do the flowers for my friend Emily's wedding! It was so fun and I have definitely missed playing with flowers!
The centerpieces
Emily's bouquet
And the boutonnieres.
March brought along Greg's 26th birthday! Every time he would get a card in the mail and go to open it, Brooklyn thought it was for her and would say "Oh thank you daddy!" and try to steal it.
Getting ready to find all the presents that Brooklyn hid!
I don't know who was happier about the big bag of tootsie rolls and suckers!
Greg's hopes and dreams finally came true when he opened his last present! Thanks to his parents he is now the proud owner of the new Lebron James jersey!
While Greg has been busy with school, Brooklyn and I ventured out to the zoo one more time for the premier of Dino Alive! We had to make a pit stop at the elephants of course!
She has been pretty into dinosaurs lately so she was way excited to go see them!

I was lucky to get her to even look at the camera. She was amazed!

The life-size T-Rex made her a tad nervous...although she tried to play it off cool trying to smile

It was a pretty awesome exhibit!
All that playing can wear a person out! Lately she has been falling asleep holding her babies or her kitty...

or she falls asleep with her hand in the sink...
Speaking of being grown up, Brooklyn still thinks she is old enough to wear makeup. At least once a week I walk in to find her putting on mascara..no matter where I hide it! Oh and she has taken up flossing...
And if she isn't into the mascara, she somehow manages to squeeze her little arm into the locked cupboard and reaches the nail polish basket. I guess she was feeling the Christmas spirit.
She loves being in the tub! Sometimes I wonder if she creates a mess just to get a bath!

What a great blog. We love to see what you've been up to. I'm sorry, but you'll have to go to the zoo again, when I come! I love seeing Brooklyn in her pretty dresses. She does look like a princess.

Brooklyn is already starting to be crafty like her mom! I love how girly she is! It's nice to have a girl to balance things out with all of these crazy boys.
