March Madness!

We have so much to catch up from the past few months!! March started off celebrating Greg's 28th birthday! We went to Baker and ended up going to my cousin's high school basketball state tournament in Nampa. Greg was in heaven watching basketball all day.
The next day Brooklyn hid all of Greg's presents and we got ready to celebrate.
Getting ready to open presents-Brooklyn picked out the special birthday hat.
She was even more excited to give him the Kai-lan card she picked out for him too.
Trying to get her to tell him where the presents went.
 Showing off the loot!
Greg is not a huge cake fan, so I scoured the Internet to find the perfect ice-cream cake recipe-It was just about as good as the Dairy Queen cakes!
Brooklyn really wanted to blow the candles out first.
 Love my cute family!
Brooklyn finally let Greg have a chance at blowing out the candles.
The school in Joseph put on a little carnival, so we ventured up to have some fun! Brooklyn loved using her tickets for face paint, the cake walk, and lots of other games.
Bostyn is growing up way too fast, and now her hair is long enough for cute little pony-tails.
There is never a dull moment living with Brooklyn. She is always coming out of her room dressed up in some spiffy little outfit.
I have a feeling she is going to be such funny little old lady.
Bostyn loves to dress up too. She especially loves sunglasses.

She just hasn't figured out how to get them on without poking out her eyeballs.

The youth in our ward had a mission night. Greg talked about Brazil and we made some yummy Brazilian food for the kids to eat.
This is Bostyn's favorite place to hide. If we can't find her, she is usually in under the bathroom sink.
These two love to splash around and laugh in the tub together. I am so glad that we have two girls!
Brooklyn has been tapping in to her inner artist. She finally figured out how to draw faces and people. This was her very first person that she drew all by herself.
It was finally starting to look like spring and the snow was just about gone! We went outside every chance we could get.
Bostyn loves to climb up and down stairs whenever she can.
We wanted to get ready for St. Patrick's Day, so we made this cute leprechaun.
We decided to straighten Brooklyn's hair, and she loved it! She looks so much older with straight hair.
Greg has been able to go on a lot of training trips for work. Luckily we have been able to go with him sometimes and make a mini vacation out of it.
This trip we head off to Portland for a few days. Along the way we have a tradition to always stop at the fish hatchery.
Brooklyn loves to get the fish food and feed all of the fish.

Bostyn was just happy to be out of the car.
 Looking at Herman the Sturgeon

Along with the fish hatchery, we always stop at Multnomah Falls.
It is one of my favorite places to visit!

 It is so beautiful there!
After dinner in Portland we made it over to see the temple. Brooklyn was so excited that she could touch it!
 Beautiful Portland temple.
Lucky for us, there were two women walking around and offered to take a family picture!

 Bostyn loved seeing the flowers.
No matter where we go, the girls always love staying in hotels.
The next day, we got on the train and made a trip to the Portland Zoo.
The girls loved it! We hadn't taken them to the zoo since we moved from Florida.

Our two cuties in the bird's nest.

Brooklyn insisted that we wait in line so she could "drive" the tractor. She thought it was awesome!
She looks so tiny compared to those huge bears!
Besides the animals, swinging on the monkey vines was probably one of Brooklyn's favorite things.

One of my favorite things was seeing this cute baby elephant! She was only a couple of months old and sooo adorable!

We all loved seeing the elephants.

If there is anything to climb on, you can bet Brooklyn will find it.
I thought these star fish and sea urchins were so cool too!
Brooklyn loved this big sea lion.
It swam back and forth in front of us and looked like it was smiling the entire time.
This was Brooklyn's first time seeing a Tiger in the zoo, she thought it was so cool!
No matter where we go, if there is a station to get a smashed penny, Brooklyn has to do it.
We couldn't leave the zoo without her hugging this huge bear.
It was such a fun day to explore!
That night we had tickets for a Blazer's game.
Poor little Bostyn was so exhausted from the zoo, that she crashed almost instantly.

Our traditional family picture after the game.
We had so much fun on this trip, and can't wait for the next trip!
Our ward had a talent show, and Brooklyn really wanted to sing. So Brooklyn sang "Quickly I'll Obey" while Greg played it on the trumpet.
They were the first act, and Brooklyn was so brave and so stinking cute up there singing.
 St. Patrick's Day dresses!
After church we had green shamrock pancakes, and "green eggs and ham".
Bostyn loves baby dolls! She is usually carrying around some type of doll all day long.
My flash wasn't on, but I love this picture of her! She has the funniest little personality.
I love peeking in on nap time-this time she was snuggled up with her baby panda and I couldn't resist taking a picture.
Even though it was looking like spring, every once in a while it'd snow again. Brooklyn loves to go outside and walk on the front deck.
We do a little preschool co-op with some of our friends. This day we taught about dinosaurs and made cool dinosaur masks.

And of course being close to Easter, we had to make dino eggs.

This little one is just like her sister and LOVES to be outside whenever she can be!
Our neighbor got a new puppy and he kept sneaking out of his cage and would come running over to play with the girls. They loved it, even though he kept jumping on them and knocking them over.
Probably the most exciting part of March was finally getting to be an aunt!! Greg's brother Zack and his wife Nicole, had this cute little guy, and we are completely in love with him!! Being an aunt is sooo much fun!

We had such a fun, crazy month and it flew by so fast. It seems like time just keeps getting faster and faster!
