A couple of weeks before Christmas, we went to the Enterprise light parade.
It had been pretty cold here, but we bundled up tight.
These girls love parades, no matter how long or short.
They were pretty excited to see Santa on his sleigh.
It lasted about all of 5 minutes, but they had fun waving and grabbing all of the candy.
Bostyn looked like a little marshmallow.
Brooklyn is growing up so fast.
Love these three!
Our elf friend Jilly came back to visit us for a few weeks. One night she had a tea party with all of the barbies.
Greg promised his office Christmas cookies, so for FHE one night we finally got them all made and frosted.
Some of the finished product. We made 8 or 9 platefuls for every office in the courthouse.
Another day, Jilly got caught coloring a picture for the girls.
Every year, the youth in our church put on a live Nativity. I forgot my camera last year, so I made sure to take it this time. They loved Eeyore the donkey.
We heard that the sheep weren't too nice, so we didn't get too close to them.
Some of the kids acting out the Nativity.
We love to look at Christmas lights. I never remembered to take my camera, but this is just a quick shot of our neighbor's house down the street. Their house is amazing and has so many lights and yard decorations. Anytime we were driving home at night, we had to drive down and look at the lights before we could go home.
Sam and Veronica had their baby boy on the 18th, so we drove down that weekend to see them all. While we were there we made our traditional Christmas suckers to hand out to our friends and neighbors.
The girls love them!
I think we made almost 200 suckers to hand out!
While we were there, we decided to go bowling. Bostyn was finally big enough to bowl too! She was so excited and loved it.
Court was home from school for the break too.
Brooklyn has always loved to go bowling. It had been quite a while since we had been able to do it.
She always wants to wear a skirt, even in the dead of winter!
Brooklyn and baby Tanner. The girls are in love with him!
Bostyn had a little cold that weekend so we tried to have her wear the doctor's mask so she wouldn't get the baby sick. She is obsessed with this little guy!
Tanner and Uncle Greg-it is still so weird to call him that!
I wish we lived closer so we could see him everyday! He is the sweetest little baby, and made us even more excited for our own little guy to get here!
Once we got home, the girls and I headed out to deliver our suckers. Brooklyn loved running door to door and handing them out to everyone.
Next up, is all about Christmas Eve!
