Brooklyn Turns 6!

A few days before Brooklyn turned 6, Grandma and Papa Baxter came over to give Brooklyn her gifts early.
They gave her the Rugrats 1 & 2 on DVD
and a Palace Pet named Tea Cup.
She was pretty excited about it!
They also gave her a new Minnie Mouse shirt that was super cute!
We decided to give her one of our gifts early as well!
We surprised her with ballet class and new ballet slippers!
She was super excited! She has been wanting to take a dance class for such a long time.
While Grandma and Papa were there, we had cupcakes and sang to her.

Last night as a 5 year old!
She was super excited to wake up and open presents before school!
Bostyn was pretty excited to help a little bit too.

She was pretty excited about her new Sofia the First toys.
Bostyn was excited that she got two, so she could play with one!
Of course a new frozen dress for her upcoming party!
She's a girl after my own heart, and loves shoes as much as I do. She had been wanting these black boots for so long.
Bostyn picked her out some new bracelets.
Brooklyn had been asking for a guitar for her birthday for months. One day I found this cute pink guitar at a garage sale for $5, so I snatched it up and hid it under my bed. After she had opened all of her presents I got the guitar and came out singing/playing Happy Birthday to her.
She was so surprised and happy!
 Love her!
For her birthday dinner she wanted rice and beans with chips and salsa of course, so it was off to El Erradero for dinner! And it looks like big crazy eyes run in the family!
 We love family birthday dinners!
Kingston was just along for the ride, and taking his paci for one of the first times!
This is her "I am so excited/happy/embarrassed" face. She doesn't every time when she gets surprised or doesn't know if she should laugh, smile, or just sit there. It makes us laugh so hard.
She loved having the workers sing Happy Birthday to her.
It was a pretty darn good 6th birthday!
 Love these 3 kiddos!
A couple of days later it was time for Brooklyn's Frozen birthday party! She was pretty happy with how everything turned out.

Love this cute girl! She requested an Elsa dress cake for her birthday, so that is what we did!
I loved these cute little Olaf goodie bags that I printed out.
This was my first time doing a cupcake dress, but it was soooo easy and fun! I loved making it!
Brooklyn and her best friend Shaley. These girls are so cute together.
Bostyn was pretty excited about the party too!
Once of all of her friends came, we turned on our bouncy house and the kids jumped their hearts out.
After jumping we played Pin the Nose on Olaf.
Only a few of the kids got pretty close, I think Brooklyn may have cheated just a tad.
We couldn't forget about Bostyn's turn.
While the girls jumped some more, I took the boys inside to make snowman kits.
Then all of the girls had a turn making theirs.
After all of the fun and games, it was time for presents!
She got lots of fun stuff from all of her little friends.
After presents, we went in side and sang Happy Birthday! She loved having everyone sing to her.

Time to make a wish and blow out the candle!
 I can't believe she is 6 already!
 Everyone loved the yummy cupcakes.
I think it is safe to say that she loved her party!
It was definitely a little crazy having 13 5 and 6 year olds running around, but we survived and had so much fun!

And of course she had to show off her birthday loot.

The Frozen party was definitely a hit! I am just waiting for her to start talking about the next birthday party theme.
